Wellness Wednesday – Spring Into Summer with Nurse Lauren
Hi there, Nurse Lauren here with your Wellness Wednesday tips! Is it me or does this winter weather seem to be dragging on and on this year? If you’re anything like me, you’re in dire need of some warmth and sunshine! Did you know there are only 9 weeks until the first day of summer? And only five and half weeks until Memorial Day Weekend? These transitional weeks are the perfect time to take some “me time” and create routines that will turn into healthy habits. As we look forward to the flowers blooming and flip-flop season, here are three things we can do for our minds, bodies, and souls to help us spring into summer!
Get outdoors:
Sometimes there’s no better medicine than fresh air! You spent all winter cooped up inside and now it’s time to open those windows. Have to go to the store? Try taking a walk there and back. Have a dog? Stroll to the park for a round of fetch. It may be too soon for the beach, but it’s never too soon to enjoy the crisp spring air and a little exercise!
