PPE or personal protective equipment, are the critical items doctors, nurses, and health care providers rely on to assist in stopping the spread of COVID-19. CPT/AMA Announces a New PPE code – But is it Payable?
ICD10monitor (@ICD10monitor) reports that The American Medical Association (@AmerMedicalAssn) published a new CPT code on Sept. 8 that accounts for extra provisions to ensure patient and provider safety during a public health emergency (PHE).
