The Friday Five – National Women’s Health Week
Follow and join the conversation with #NWHW.
National Women’s Health Week is an observance led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health. The goal is to empower women to make their health a priority. The week also serves as a time to encourage women to take steps to improve their health. The 18th annual National Women’s Health Week kicks off on Mother’s Day, May 14, and is celebrated through May 20, 2017. This week’s Friday Five supports this initiative by offering some tips regarding women and health and how to participate during NWHW to start your journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
Quiz: What’s your health style?
The official National Women’s Health Week site, sponsored by the Office on Women’s Health (@womenshealth) has a plethora of resources, information and ideas about what to do and how to celebrate NWHW. If you read or do nothing else on the website, be sure to take their Quiz: What’s your health style? The interactive assessment takes only a few minutes to complete and will rate how healthy, or not healthy, you are. At the end you will also receive a link to some tips for how to improve your lifestyle quickly and easily.
