National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is an annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of routine vaccination for people of all ages. This week’s Friday Five focuses on the importance of vaccines for public health, resources to make sure you and your loved ones can become up-to-date on all immunizations, and information to join an upcoming X chat about vaccines.
CDC Recommended Immunization Schedules
The CDC (@cdcgov) recognizes National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), the an annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of routine vaccination for people of all ages. Use these resources to help you discuss routine vaccinations with your patients and parents during NIAM and throughout the year. Consult the Parent-Friendly Vaccine Schedules in the following categories: Birth to 6 years and 7 to 18 years.
