The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator Powered by Techstars – Demo Day Recap
The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator powered by Techstars is a collaboration to help today’s technology innovators turn their ideas into breakthroughs that can improve the lives of patients around the world. Out of 500 applicants, ten companies were selected for the program and given access to the world’s leading physicians and researchers to help advance technology that empowers the patient or healthcare professional to better track, manage, and improve health and healthcare delivery.
Aiva Health (@aiva_health), CancerAid (@CancerAid_app), ChoiceMap(@choicemap), Gyant, Invio (@InvioInc), Lumeon (@lumeon_), NarrativeDX (@narrativedx), CareScriptions by Seremedi (@carescriptions), Sway, and Tasso (@TassoInc) are the ten companies who spent three months working with Cedar Sinai doctors and nurses, as well as investors and entrepreneurs, to help develop their healthcare technologies. On December 6th each startup was given the opportunity to pitch their company on Demo Day to healthcare leaders, investors, press, and other community members. Several companies also announced continued partnerships with Cedars-Sinai or other hospitals and health care systems.
