During the first full week of April each year, American Public Health Association brings together communities across the United States to observe National Public Health Week. This week’s Friday Five highlights a few of the events you can take part in and join to be part of this worthy cause.

In 1995, President Clinton proclaimed the first full week of April as National Public Health Week. For over 20 years now the APHA has worked to develop national campaigns to educate the public, policymakers and practitioners during the week about issues related to the theme.
