As part of its continued support of the AHA’s Go Red for Women movement during American Heart Month, CVS Health announced it will be offering no-cost “Know Your Numbers” heart health screenings at MinuteClinic, the company’s retail medical clinic, on select Thursdays in February.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women causing 1 in 3 deaths among women each year. Go Red For Women is a campaign sponsored by the American Heart Association that seeks to change this knowing that 80% of these cardiac deaths may be prevented through education and action.
February is American Heart Month and the American Heart Association, which has led the fight against heart disease for more than sixty years, has new statistics to share, an ongoing campaign to join, and events happening throughout the month. Celebrate American Heart Month and help make a difference.
