Are U.S. medical records accessible and accurate?
Health tech company Carta Healthcare®, whose mission is to harness the value of clinical data, released the results of a survey of U.S. consumers regarding the accuracy and accessibility of their healthcare records. While most respondents feel confident about accessing their records and consider them accurate, a significant portion, particularly younger generations, report inaccuracies. The survey also reveals cautious optimism about the role of AI in enhancing record accuracy.

A new Wolters Kluwer Health survey, Generative AI in Healthcare: Gaining Consumer Trust, reveals one of the biggest concerns Americans have about generative AI (GenAI) in healthcare is not knowing where the medical information being used came from or how it is validated.¹
46% of People with Below-Average Sleep Quality Rate Their Mental Health As Poor
There’s a strong connection between mental health and sleep, which was reflected in findings of an April 2024 survey of 1,000 U.S. adults by Sleepfoundation.org. The survey found that those who describe their mental health as below average sleep less, and when they do slumber, the quality of their sleep is worse. Those in this group sleep for nearly an hour less per night than those with above-average mental health (6.3 hours vs. 7.2 hours). They are also three times as likely to rate their sleep quality as poor or very poor.
