Report: Emerging Pediatric Technologies
Children who are hospitalized often require specialized devices and drug treatments that are appropriate for their smaller size. To assist providers with insights and education into the latest innovations and technology Vizient (@VizientInc) has published its latest edition of its Technology Watch series titled, “Emerging Pediatric Technologies”. The report highlights the development of new medical devices for the pediatric patient population, a group that has historically lagged behind adult patients, in the development of innovative technology.
In its Emerging Pediatric Technology report, Vizient advocates for the development of pediatric care technologies, seeking to increase their availability to the youngest of patients.
