Dave is 4sight Health’s biggest news junkie, resident journalist and healthcare historian. He began covering healthcare in 1983 and hasn’t stopped since. Dave writes his own column, “Burda on Health,” for us, contributes weekly blog posts, and manages our weekly e-newsletter and weekly podcast, 4sight Friday and 4sight Roundup. Dave believes that healthcare is a business like any other business, and customers—patients—are king. If you do what’s right for patients, good business results will follow.

Dave wakes up every morning trying to fix America’s broken healthcare system. Employing his knowledge and experience in health policy, economics, statistics, behavioral finance, disruptive innovation, organizational change and complexity theory, Dave writes and speaks on pro-market healthcare reform. Prior to founding 4sight Health in 2014, Dave had a long and successful career in healthcare investment banking. He is a graduate of Colgate University and earned a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
Julie V. Murchinson, 4sight Health Contributor
Julie is a Partner with Transformation Capital, a growth equity fund focused exclusively on digital health. She built and led Health Evolution, the industry’s premier convening company that connects the healthcare industry’s most influential leaders to inspire forward-thinking strategies and scalable solutions that drive health. Ms. Murchinson was also Managing Director at Manatt Health Solutions, the policy and strategy advisory division of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips. She holds a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
