ANA Announces New Innovation Advisory Board
The American Nurses Association announced the launch of its new Innovation Advisory Board. This board is composed of a select group of leaders with significant expertise in health care innovation that encompasses nursing, design, education, nonprofit, business, venture, and philanthropy sectors. The Innovation Advisory Board’s work has commenced effective immediately. There are 15 members in total who assembled to inform ANA’s innovation work under the leadership of ANA’s Vice President of Nursing Innovation Oriana Beaudet, DNP, RN, PHN.

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (FAANP) will induct 38 distinguished nurse practitioner (NP) leaders in 2021. Located in 22 states across the U.S. and Vancouver, British Columbia, these FAANP inductees join an elite group of NPs who impact national and global health through their outstanding contributions to health care. Established in 2000, the FAANP program recognizes NPs who have made significant accomplishments through clinical practice, research, education or policy.
