Applying RTLS Technology to Improve Nurse Efficiency and Patient Care
Providing better patient care is a national imperative in the United States, and nurses play a critical role in this equation. This pressing issue has been impacted greatly by the ongoing nursing shortage, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated this challenge in the United States.

We spoke with Nancy Beale, Ph.D., MSN, R.N.-B.C., Chief Nurse Executive, executive healthcare information technology (IT) leader, 2019 recipient of the HIMSS-ANI Nursing Informatics Leadership Award, co-chair for the Alliance for Nursing Informatics, a participant in the NBRC, member of the IHE USA Board of Directors, and President of Telemetrix about her thoughts on nursing and technology.

Project Management Bootcamp for Nurse Leaders
July 24-27, 2023 | Cheetah Learning | Coaches: Dawn Nunez, RN, PMP; Kate Fossman, RD, PMP
Become a Master at Accelerated Learning and Pass the PMP Exam in 4 days.
Companies are looking for the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential because it assures that the person who is doing the role of “project manager” has passed a rigorous industry standard test regarding the basic knowledge necessary for the job of project management. Considering that 75% of all projects fail due to poor project management, PMPs are considered critical organizational assets by the companies that employ them (Gartner Group, 2012). Recently, the federal government mandated that any projects receiving government funding need to have PMI-certified project managers, and many healthcare organizations require their project managers to be PMP-certified. The high demand for PMPs equates to a higher compensation. More information here. Follow: @CheetahLearning
