Are Nurses Able to Lead in the Digital Health Evolution?
March 15, 2023 | Webinar
The United States healthcare system is slowly evolving from one built on mostly episodic and ambulatory in-person encounters to one that is digitally based, technology rich and informed by data. Simultaneously, the nursing profession is facing crises on a number of fronts, especially the education pipeline, workforce availability and professional development. Formal education tracks and the postgraduate novice-to-expert continuum have historically contained an insufficient focus on technology and informatics as a core component of nursing practice. For nurses to practice—and lead—in a modern healthcare environment, we must consider solutions that elevate our education pathways.

Project Management Bootcamp for Nurse Leaders
April 10-May 7 or April 24-27, 2023 | Cheetah Learning | Coaches: Dawn Nunez, RN, PMP; Kate Fossman, RD, PMP
Become a Master at Accelerated Learning and Pass the PMP Exam in 4 days.
Companies are looking for the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential because it assures that the person who is doing the role of “project manager” has passed a rigorous industry standard test regarding the basic knowledge necessary for the job of project management. Considering that 75% of all projects fail due to poor project management, PMPs are considered critical organizational assets by the companies that employ them (Gartner Group, 2012). Recently, the federal government mandated that any projects receiving government funding need to have PMI-certified project managers, and many healthcare organizations require their project managers to be PMP-certified. The high demand for PMPs equates to a higher compensation. More information here. Follow: @CheetahLearning
