Since the Global COVID-19 Pandemic, the job of pharmacist has had to adapt and overnight the role become more imperative than ever. National Pharmacist Day is celebrated annually on January 12th and honors all pharmacists across the nation. We decided to join in recognizing the work these front line heroes do each and every day.

For Pharmacists, Building Resilience and Well-Being Is Critical
During the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacists’ roles were expanded. In May 2022, the US surgeon general issued an advisory report to address health worker burnout and resignation. The report emphasizes the importance of protecting the health, safety, and well-being of health workers. Pharmacists should have a variety of tools at their disposal to prevent, identify, and cope with burnout.
