Motivation Monday – 3 Tips to Get Through Night Shift with Nurse Lauren
Hi there, Nurse Lauren here with your Motivation Monday tips! Are my nurses out there finding it hard to get through their night shifts? Here are three quick tips to get you your through the night!
- Sleep well before you go in. Starting shift tired will only making it increasingly harder to do your job while you are there.
- Pack healthy snacks! If you don’t you will find yourself making unhealthy vending machine choices – like junk and sugary sweets – that will make you crash.
- Practice what you preach! Are you constantly telling patients how they can live a healthier lifestyle? Well then – follow your own advice!
