Healthcare Accelerators Accepting Apps Now
In 2011 various changes in our national health care policy, including the HITECH Act and the Affordable Care Act, created opportunities for innovation. Health care-focused accelerators began to emerge and have continued to grow all across our nation. Healthcare accelerators are helping to change the landscape of our healthcare system as we know it. We have chosen four such accelerators from around the country to highlight as they are currently accepting applications.
Techstars Healthcare Accelerator (@CSspaceship), in partnership with Cedars-Sinai, is a collaboration to help today’s technology innovators turn their ideas into breakthroughs that can improve the lives of patients around the world.
Wemultiply (@WeMultiply) is a health technology investment platform that provides its members with access to high-growth, transformational, and curated investment opportunities that aim to improve wellness outcomes, prolong lives, and advance healthcare for every human being.
Dreamit (@dreamit) is the only growth accelerator designed for mature startups. Dreamit puts companies in front of customers, key strategic partners to drive pilot programs and distribution before matching them with larger venture funds and investor groups to raise follow-on funding.
HubX LifeSciences (@HubXLifeScience) is the first privately funded and industry specific accelerator program in the state of Arkansas focused on advancing innovative healthcare start-ups.
