HealthcareNOW Radio is excited to announce the debut of Harlow on Healthcare, a new radio show which will focus on critical issues shaping the future of health IT and healthcare at large. The show will be hosted by none other than HIPAA Chat’s David Harlow, JD MPH. From cybersecurity to AI, precision medicine to health reform, if the topic is trending Harlow will cover it. The first episode of Harlow on Healthcare premiers next Monday, November 13th at 4:30 pm ET. About the Host
David Harlow, JD MPH (@healthblawg) is a healthcare lawyer and consultant with over thirty years of public and private sector experience, which gives him a unique perspective on legal, policy and business issues facing the healthcare community. He has deep expertise in digital health law, policy and strategy, including healthcare data privacy and security planning and compliance. He counsels health care providers, health data analytics firms, technology providers, health app developers and others on a broad range of healthcare and business issues. For the debut episode of Harlow on Healthcare David talks with Lee Aase (@LeeAase), a healthcare social media pioneer, about reaching patients where they live, and continuing the Mayo Clinic tradition of sharing learnings with healthcare providers and patients all over the world. Lee Aase is director of the Mayo Clinic Social Media Network by day, and by night, Lee is Chancellor of Social Media University, Global (SMUG), a free online higher education institution that provides practical, hands-on training in social media for lifelong learners. He has been inducted into the Healthcare Internet Hall of Fame, and HealthLeaders Media named him to its list of “20 People Who Make Healthcare Better.”
