Axonics, Inc. announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Boston Scientific Corporation for $71 in cash per share, representing an equity value of approximately $3.7 billion.
HCSC Agrees to Acquire Medicare Businesses and CareAllies from Cigna
HCSC signed a definitive agreement with The Cigna Group to acquire its Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental Benefits, Medicare Part D and CareAllies businesses. The acquisition, valued at $3.3 billion will benefit HCSC’s current and future members by enhancing the company’s capabilities and reach, particularly in the growing Medicare segment.

AbbVie announced that it has completed its acquisition of ImmunoGen. With the completion of the acquisition, ImmunoGen is now part of AbbVie. The transaction values ImmunoGen at a total equity value of approximately $10.1 billion.

Cardinal Health to acquire Integrated Oncology Network, a physician-led independent community oncology network
Cardinal Health announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Integrated Oncology Network, a physician-led independent community oncology network, for $1.115 billion in cash. ION includes more than 50 practice sites in 10 states representing more than 100 providers with extensive reach into the local communities they serve. ION supports a complete continuum of care across its member sites including medical oncology, radiation oncology, urology, diagnostic testing and other ancillary services.
