The American Public Health Association (@PublicHealth) brings together communities across the United States to observe National Public Health Week (@NPHW) as a time to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation’s health. This year’s theme is “Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health” and the event takes place April 1-7, 2024. This week’s Friday Five takes a look at the events happening to celebrate public health and all of its benefits.
Schedule of Events for NPHW 2024
Join APHA April 1-7 for live events during the 2024 National Public Health Week. This year’s events will cover an array of topics from this year’s theme, “Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health!” Review the schedule overview and save your spot. You will have the option to register for one event or all. Space is limited for some live events, but all events will be recorded and freely available to the public. You do not need to register to get acess to the recordings.

During each day of National Public Health Week, APHA focuses on a particular public health topic. Then, they identify ways each of us can make a difference on that topic. These areas are critical to our future success in creating the healthiest nation, and everyone can do their part to help.
