Next week is National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW), an annual observance in December to remind everyone 6 months and older that there’s still time to get vaccinated against flu. This week’s Friday Five provides information about this year’s flu season, tracks the parts of the U.S. where activity is high, and offers some tips and resources for how to prevent and treat the illness.
