In 2005 the CDC established National Influenza Vaccination Week to highlight the importance of continuing flu vaccination through the holiday season and beyond. This year NIVW will take place December 4 – 10. This week’s Friday Five provides you with all you need to know when it comes to the illness, protecting against it, and what to do if you happen to come down with it.
