Friday Five – National Health Education Week
For more than 20 years, the Society for Public Health Education (@SOPHEtweets) has celebrated National Health Education Week (#NHEW), in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services, during the third week of October, this year being October 17 – 21, 2022. The purpose of NHEW is to increase national awareness on major public health issues and promote a better understanding of the role of health education. This year’s NHEW will pay tribute to Partnerships and how they help to build community health. Our Friday Five provides the daily themes of the week, webinars to attend, information about Health Literacy Month and much more.
